Corbyn's true colours revealed - "Defeat' the EU!"

New just breaking ......

TalkRADIO has unearthed footage from the Durham Miners Gala in 2010, where Jeremy Corbyn called for the European Union, among a raft of other international organisations to be ‘defeated’.

They, the world’s bankers, International Monetary Fund, European Union, they are utterly united in what they want. Utterly united in deflation, suppressing the economy, and creating unemployment. Utterly united in that.

We will not be silenced by these people. We will win through. We will defeat them.

This man blows with the wind. Now he wants to cling to the EU. Or does he? Who knows? He wants power so will do the bidding of his puppet masters in the Labour Party.

Can we believe anything he says? Is he fit to run the country? Such duplicity.

How embarrassing and revealing.

Hear him speaking here.

Anja Mon 11-Feb-19 19:36:40

That’s old news!

EllanVannin Mon 11-Feb-19 19:37:19

He's an out and out Militant who's literally bluffing his way through his position as opposition leader. He doesn't fool me !

Day6 Mon 11-Feb-19 19:38:03

Yes, from 2010, but now revealed...

Day6 Mon 11-Feb-19 19:40:26

Exactly EllanVannin

That is just it - he is all buff, bluster and lies.
He'll stand for anything Militant er, Momentum tells him to stand for.

Talk about a spineless puppet of the far left!

paddyann Mon 11-Feb-19 19:47:30

Well he's in good company then with Mrs May darling of the right .....ones as bad as the other and both are ruining lives daily with this Brexit nonsense .Time to put COUNTRY before party or is that an unknown concept?

petra Mon 11-Feb-19 19:50:18

Anja
It might be old news to you but there are many out there, and I would even say on here, that don't believe how much he hates the eu.

Day6 Mon 11-Feb-19 19:54:12

So, can you tell us Anja - what does he want, does he really, really want?

It's as clear as mud.

On the one hand he wants to be in the customs union with the EU, but on the other hand he wants to destroy the EU.

Keeping his options open (being duplicitous) while he sits on the fence waiting for the keys to No 10 maybe..... confused

Anniebach Mon 11-Feb-19 19:58:03

Old news ? I hadn’t heard before, I know he wants out but the video shows what he realy thinks of the EU .

Urmstongran Mon 11-Feb-19 20:00:47

He wants to be in No. 10
He’s playing a crafty game. Keeping his cards close to his chest so that Leavers & Remainers both think he’s ‘with them on Brexit’.

Grandad1943 Mon 11-Feb-19 20:02:47

Well, there are some who are far worse than Jeremy Corbyn in their words and actions.

Jacob Rees Mogg for example, tells the whole electorate how much better life will be in Britain when we are outside the EU, and then moves all his client's financial interests in his investment company to Ireland.

Along with the above, we have arc Brexitier Dyson who is so confident that Britain will be the worlds greatest place to invest in following Brexit, that he moves the headquarters of his company to Singapore.

And there are many more in the Tory party that have carried out similar.

You could not make it up, could you

EllanVannin Mon 11-Feb-19 20:06:21

Grandad1943------I suggest you read the early days of Corbyn.

Anniebach Mon 11-Feb-19 20:09:10

Struggling to think of a politician far worse than Corbyn, even a little more than Corbyn, no one comes to mind

Day6 Mon 11-Feb-19 20:09:33

The daft thing is, as a Leaver, I fully agree with JC.

The EU is and should be a left wing cause. Big businesses love it because a mobile, nomadic workforce (open borders) can not be unionised. Wages are suppressed, big profits are made for the fat cats, who are laughing all the way to the bank. They are all Remainers.

IF Corbyn had stuck to his beliefs and fought continually to leave the EU he would have had my respect. I don't know what games he is playing but I suspect it's all about forcing a general election and opposing everything May does.

He is a busted flush as a politician.

M0nica Mon 11-Feb-19 20:17:17

Depends on who has his ear at any given time. After reading some of the information about him revealed in a new biography. He strikes me as being a bear of very little brain, who is rather proud of not using what brain he has.

Anniebach Mon 11-Feb-19 20:31:02

Sums him up MOnica

Day6 Mon 11-Feb-19 20:40:23

Yes, M0nica, I used to see Corbyn as an enigmatic backbencher rebel and quite enjoyed his angry outbursts. I thought he was principled and slightly eccentric, but he has proved he is anything but.

He is being exposed as a real fraud, and a dangerous one because he plays games, shifts his position almost daily and comes across as someone who desperately needs notes before he speaks. Definitely lacking in brain power I'd say...or conviction. Makes one wonder who really leads the opposition. His strings are being pulled by Momentum, who will ditch him before long for another Militant socialist.

How disappointed are the hordes of young Jezza fans going to be when they find out their Remain hero is nothing but a hypocrite who really wants to destroy the EU?

Grandad1943 Mon 11-Feb-19 20:41:11

EllanVannin Quote [ Grandad1943------I suggest you read the early days of Corbyn.]

So, Corbyn now has different views since his "early years". However, could not the same be said of Theresa May, being a remainer but now leading the effort for Britain to leave Europe, (and failing miserably).

It can be honestly stated that everyone is entitled to change their view, especially if that is based on life experience.

Day6 Mon 11-Feb-19 20:43:37

That's a socialist ploy Grandad - deflecting and making it about May. It won't wash, even though many politicians are behaving disgracefully of late.

Corbyn changes his views on the EU more frequently than he changes his underpants....that's the point.

jura2 Mon 11-Feb-19 20:46:47

Grandad- I agree that there is much worse.

But for NOW, JC is facilitating the slide into catastrophic No Deal. We only have a few weeks - he sat on the fence so so long. And now he is playing silly games. The letter to Mrs May, agreed with Senior colleagues from LP, did include the bit about a Second Ref.- and HE CHOSE to exclude it. We all know he did NOT FORGET - but he went against his own party, and against the decisions at Conference.

Why oh why re you trying to excuse him all the time?

Urmstongran Mon 11-Feb-19 20:54:05

Didn’t Labour & Conservatives say honouring the result of the referendum was part of their election manifesto?

Only the LibDems canvassed on holding a 2nd referendum .... and they only got 7% of the votes for their trouble.

Grandad1943 Mon 11-Feb-19 21:04:05

Day6, it matters little what happens in the Labour party, for they are not the party of government at this time of crisis in Britain.

However this shambles of a government is made up of the Conservative party where the divisions in that party have taken this nation to the very edge of disaster. Only today, over 30 leading food manufacturers and distributors have written to the government stating bluntly that they simply cannot cope any longer with all the uncertainty over Brexit.

In the above, those companies need to gain certainty for forward planning, processing and ordering even from outside the EU. In that, what do they witness, Theresa May again kicking the can down the road to keep the rabid right of the Tory party quiet.

Party before country. Self-interest before national interest.

It's not what's happened in the past with Corbyn or anyone else in politics; it is what is happening now.

EllanVannin Mon 11-Feb-19 21:05:49

Can anyone suggest how we'll manage without the backing from the EU ? This will be after many businesses have pulled out and gone abroad.
Whose going to invest in a country which has nothing to offer in return ?
We're already living with austerity, but--------you ain't seen nothing yet !

Corbyn is waiting in the wings for the country to fall on its a**e then he'll jump in. ( God forbid ) The man is anti-British, anti business, anti capitalist and anti Semitic. Business people will leave in their droves if he ever becomes PM ! Those who are left and are comfortably off will be taxed to the hilt along with anyone else who earns over a specific amount. We'll be wrecked !

lemongrove Mon 11-Feb-19 21:08:49

Deviation from the thread subject so early? hmm

Corbyn has been sussed over a lot of things in the last year.
He did well at first as nobody knew anything much about him, but he has been exposed now as a weak vacillating excuse of a leader, who cosies up to Hamas the IRA, Madhuro and Russia!

Grandad1943 Mon 11-Feb-19 21:30:53

jura2 in regard to your post at @20:46, Jeremy Corbyn has remained loyal to the Brexit policy set out by the Labour party conference which was drawn up by the twelve thousand voting delegates that attended that conference. For that, Corbyn has been accused of "sitting on the fence" by Britain's right-wing press.

Corbyn this weekend moves towards this shambles of a government in an attempt to form some agreement that will stop Britain "crashing out" of Europe without a deal.

What does Corbyn receive for that, criticism from within his own party for moving away from the Conference policy. However, Theresa May then rejects his move out of hand and again "kicks the can down the road" to appease the Tory party rabid right wing.

However as stated earlier in this thread, the Labour party are not the party of government in this crisis. However, the Tory party are the party of government, and what happens there (currently a total shambles) is of the utmost importance for many thousands of jobs and in that the economic wellbeing of all who reside in Britain.
