I do hope that come the next vote, GE or referendum, the remain campaigners will tell people what they lose from leaving rather than just defending themselves against leavers
I agree.
The last campaign by Remain was weak and pathetic and was not helped by the vague statements made by Osborne that every family would be £4200 worse off, a figure that he was unable to qualify as to what size of family, what income group, over what period. There was too much politeness, too much parliamentary protocol, next time we need remain supporters to tell it like it will be, to give concrete examples, to tell people that although they will likely be worse off, that many members of the Brexit supporters group, many MPs, people like Tim whatsisname of Wetherspoons, will not only be very much better off, they will be able to tuck it away without having to disclose the existence of their offshore accounts. If, after all this, people are still stupid gullible enough to vote for leave, then so be it, we will get the government and the future that we deserve and this country will never recover.
