Trump / Biden Debate tonight 9/29 @ 9:00 Eastern

I hope Biden does better than on an interview I saw earlier this week, he was barely coherent.

Biden came across as a bumbling useless old man. I wouldn`t stay up for something like that, saw clips this morning

It was ridiculous, I wouldn’t give it the time of day.

No wonder China is in the ascendancy, with the sort of idiots we have in the USA and U.K. running our country.

Imagine being a voter and you have to choose one of these for your President????

I don’t understand US politics to be honest but why isn’t there somebody stronger in the democrat party to give some hope of getting rid of the odious Trump?
I had a look at extracts from the debate. Dire. So undignified.

It seems that the candidate who gets the most funding, via donors, gets the job.

Maybe if they capped the funding so that everyone had a chance they would get some better candidates, there must be younger ones surely.

I sense that the US ( and the rest of the world) will get Trump for another 4 years.

But what do I know? We got Boris.

Both bumbling idiots, what a choice ?

What amazes me is that a powerful country like the US, with so many talented people, can only find those two to stand against each other as their representative. While the choice is dependent on wealth, the best person can not stand. ( even so neither Biden not Trump went to Eton, imagine that. )

Cringeworthy

I saw some clips on BBC site. I think Trump reinforced his reputation as a crude, vulgar bully without a shred of decency. His loyal cult of followers will be happy with his performance.
Biden appeared to score a few points but not enough to get the better of Trump. I fear he’s just not up to the job of toppling Trump. He’ll need to up his game in the next 2 debates.

Another two debates - lord preserve us!

I will make a point of avoiding those as I did last night's.

I remember the same point was made at the last US election - are Trump and Hillary Clinton really the best candidates in a country of over three hundred million ?

Now Clinton has been replaced by someone even worse in Biden.

What a prospect for the Americans.

The Democratic Party is full of forward thinking, bright and dynamite people and they pick an old man that seems to be devoid of charisma and independent thought.

It was awful.The Trump/ Clinton one was bad enough, but this was the worse one ever I should think!
The problem with US politics is money....any candidate needs so much of it to get anywhere, which is why they are left with poor candidates at times, and very old ones frequently.

This morning I went onto the CNN website where they were fact-checking all the statements/claims both were making. Worth checking out, if you're interested

I see Trump supports the white supremacists. No surprise of course, but it shows how far things have moved to the right when a leader of a leading western democratic country can actually support a Nazi organisation.

Biden's wife is after " First Lady " position. He's as good as useless !
