Do you know what I thought. I thought there was a certain irony to the fact they want a highly skilled Britain yet for the past ten years they have cut education and people premium. They have cut support to any children in school with SEND, even those that could do well with the correct provision. They have also made post school education a luxury, university is incredibly expensive for ordinary and even middle class families. College costs an absolute fortune as well, as do specialist skilled craft qualifications. Where are these people going to become highly skilled if they can't get experience or education for it in the first place?
It's a joke
