PM in full narcissistic meltdown shouts that he got Brexit done. Only so much one can take of a delusional madman. The front benches look very grim.

If they don’t back him, they risk being unemployed sooner, as he would probably call a general election early.

Whenever Johnson spoke I’n sure my blood pressure rose! Vaccine roll out blah blah, Ukraine… worst of all - difficult to differentiate between work and socialising. Regardless of war in Europe, cost of living crisis. He has to go. He is an embarrassment.

Well it seems clear the civil servants at the top sent each other WhatsApp messages and made a conscious decision to flout the rules, then brag about it.

I blame Boris for taking his eye off the ball. He must have thought these very well paid civil servants were in control of their workforce. No wonder things have been changed since. It seems at the time of all this no one was in charge. These civil servants partied as though they were students on a Friday night, chuckled at the admonishments of the cleaning staff and one occasion set off a security alarm and at another Friday night gathering a fight broke out.

Well, he didn't try to appear sorry this time, just tried to throw civil servants under the bus.

He saw, heard, and attended most of these gatherings.

He might not have stayed long (who knows), but surely no one is seriously saying that if he had told them it was illegal, they wouldn't have packed up and left?

The buck stops at the top, he lied to Parliament, because he knew rules were being broken.

Sue Gray’s conclusions now seem pretty mild after the hysteria of the police investigation. It’s time to move on.

Working hard but started drinking at 4pm? Tell the health care workers that one. And no doubt someone will come on the thread to tell us that their cousin's brother in law who is a nurse stopped at three and took alcohol into work. He 'humbly' apologised which lasted a few minutes before his true lack of character appeared. This prime minister has no morals nor integrity. The time for resigning has long since gone. The conservative party are damned by continued support for him. What will it take for them to get rid of him?

Thank you Oak Dryad My son is a nurse, I almost threw something at the radio when I heard those words.

garnet25 This is what Johnson does. It is all part of his plan to confuse. We start to question our own sanity about what we are hearing. Classic gaslighting by a narcissistic psychopath.
