Just that. Can’t remember seeing her for months now.

I think she was told to keep a low profile after Cummings, and his "Princess Nut-Nut running the show" comments.?

Grandmabatty Fri 27-May-22 08:24:43

The speculation has been rife in the Twitterverse. She was spotted at a theme park with Johnson and the children in April but people were talking about how she didn't go with him to vote at the council elections when she's appeared at all the rest. She does have two small children so perhaps putting them first?

Lots of rumours on twitter.

Don't those babies need a trot out once a day(ish)?
My mum would have had something to say...

I have heard the rumours, and am not keen on the way the wives of PMs are treated, but it led me to have a look at her backstory. Lots of damage in her past as well.

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 27-May-22 08:44:26

She’s under the patio, mark my words.

OakDryad Fri 27-May-22 09:00:28

Who knows?

Maybe tactical following press secretary Allegra Stratton's (mate of Carrie's) hungover podium performance and the now famous wine and fine-sodden birthday party.

Or maybe she's conflicted that while she campaigns on the environment, her noxious husband's government is happy to let privatised water companies pay out millions to shareholders while pumping raw sewage into our rivers.

Or maybe, four years on, she's woken up to the fact that she has hitched her wagon to a narcissistic psychopath; that rather than be another Miram Clegg or Samantha Cameron, she’s opted for the spare room.

Hadn't noticed that she hasn't been seen recently TBH.

Urmstongran Fri 27-May-22 09:33:46

Me neither Smileless. Toxic Twitter strikes again it seems!

I had noticed but thought and hoped she was keeping a low profile her antics have been very damaging not the least her taste in wallpaper and its eye watering costs.

Casdon Fri 27-May-22 09:38:31

I saw it online, saying they have moved out of No 10.

EXCLUSIVE: Boris and Carrie Johnson to move out of Number 10 and back to Camberwell - South London Press
1 Apr 2022 — Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie just cannot rent out their £1.3million flat – so they have decided to move back in.

Sparklefizz Fri 27-May-22 09:39:46

Goodness! Now there's bitching about Carrie just because she hasn't appeared.

OakDryad Fri 27-May-22 11:01:29

I don't see anyone bitching. Carrie Symonds Johnson was barely out of the news from 2018 through 2021. Her conspicious absence now has been noted and commented on across the media, broadsheets included.

Smileless2012 Fri 27-May-22 11:06:02

Can he do that? As the PM doesn't he have to reside at No. 10?

Parsley3 Fri 27-May-22 11:21:30

The Chancellor has already moved out of Downing Street and the PM may also be moving out. Does that mean that the security services will be doubled up to protect their new accommodation? Is this the end of a tradition?

vegansrock Fri 27-May-22 11:24:32

Couldn’t nos 10 and 11 be used for Ukrainian refugees if no one is living there?

ShropshireMiss Fri 27-May-22 11:41:20

She made herself into a public figure when she hosted an event at the Tory conference.

Nandalot Fri 27-May-22 11:57:19

Oh no, they’re moving out and they spent all that money on redecorating!

silverlining48 Fri 27-May-22 12:14:09

I hadn’t missed her because I don’t do social media apart from this ( is GN social media?). No clue actually.
I also didn’t know Mr Markle was poorly, or that our not esteemed PM is considering a move and Richi has already left Downing St.
I buy a paper sometimes and watch and listen to the news every day, often more than once. Not a mention of any of this at all.
Seriously, am curious where everyone gets this information.

MaizieD Fri 27-May-22 12:18:11

Would they be able to tolerate the decor, though?

JaneJudge Fri 27-May-22 12:24:36

what is worse, being married to Mr Tumble or taking to toddlers to a number of theme parks?

Glorianny Fri 27-May-22 12:39:23

Maybe she's in the flat and he's in Number 10. Would that mean he would be out chasing women again? Lock up your daughters! There might be more children shock. If he was a cat he'd be taken to the vets!

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 27-May-22 12:42:19

What does the DM say about it? The only way to find out the truth.

Daisend1 Fri 27-May-22 12:42:50

Looking after two small children may have something to do with it.?Not all leave it to a'nanny'
