Surely his position is now completely untenable?

Last man standing grin

It's my birthday today and I'm hoping for the best present ever!

Chewbacca Wed 06-Jul-22 18:27:29

His position has been untenable for a long time now but the bugger just doesn't know when to quit; he's convinced that he's an indestructible super hero. Some might call it a form of madness.

Mamie Wed 06-Jul-22 18:30:18

Champagne on ice here!

Bellanonna Wed 06-Jul-22 18:36:59

Happy birthday Chough. Let’s all hope you get your present.

Daisymae Wed 06-Jul-22 18:39:25

Hardly. Just who from this shower is going to replace him? He needs to go, but there's I can't see anything to celebrate.

Perhaps all those cabinet ministers are planning the leaving party.

To whom are we referring?

Galaxy Wed 06-Jul-22 18:47:29

I am so irritated with myself I stand the left over bottle from New Year at the weekend. I really would have waited if I have known.

Galaxy Wed 06-Jul-22 18:50:52

Drank not stand hmm

Wheniwasyourage Wed 06-Jul-22 18:55:35

Devorgilla Wed 06-Jul-22 19:23:07

Champagne on ice here too. Coro will have to wait until tomorrow.

Farzanah Wed 06-Jul-22 19:33:52

? Happy Birthday chough.
I think it’s a tadge early to celebrate yet as they’ve got to prise him out.
I saw him at the Liaison Committee and he seems completely detached from reality.

Kandinsky Wed 06-Jul-22 19:36:09

He’ll go.
A new & better leader will be in place within a few months. Someone with integrity. They’ll reunite the party & country & the Tories will win the next election.

Surely anyone hoping for a Labour win next time would be praying Boris stays grin

And I can see the pigs flying past my window at this very moment….

Iam64 Wed 06-Jul-22 19:54:11

Don’t judge others by your standards
I want a Labour government. I want Johnson gone, he’s a liar, a charlatan, self seeking narcissist.

Oldnproud Wed 06-Jul-22 19:56:38

Kandinsky " Surely anyone hoping for a Labour win next time would be praying Boris stays "

Some might, but i believe that many, in fact probably most people wanting Boris out, right across the political spectrum, are more worried about the damage he personally has done, is doing, and will continue to do to the country and our whole political system if not stopped.
Right now, getting him out is far more important and urgent than getting another party into government.

Farzanah Wed 06-Jul-22 20:07:37

The problem is that the majority of the Tory MPs didn’t have enough “integrity” to get rid of him during the last few months when it was clear that by his behaviour he was unsuitable to lead the country. They are deserting now to save themselves.
I don’t respect the quitters at all.

Who do you suggest, Kandinsky?

'Someone with integrity' excludes all his current Cabinet for start. Not that any of them would be suitable, anyway.

Are there any Boris fans out there, or are they in hiding
