I've been doing quite a lot of night driving recently and have realised that about one in ten cars have faulty headlights. Is it just happening in the area that I live [East Midlands]? I thought the police used to pull people over for things like that, but I never see any police cars these days. One car was a taxi which, I would have thought, would lose it's licence if caught. I'm probably too complacent myself when it comes to my car lights, but my MOT is always in late November so I tend to assume they'll be ok for the winter.
Last weekend, in Rutland, the first statue in Britain of the late Elizabeth II was unveiled.
