I have tried to participate with instructions given but cannot get any further than 1st page after log in. Has anyone else had problems? Thanks

I managed to get to a page to fill in various attributes in order of goals, spent an hour and a half doing that and gave up with a stiff wrist!

I gave up too. Far too much information required, and so clunky. Decided the experience was so poor I wouldn’t continue. The level of IT and survey design skill was so poor that I dreaded the actual simulation. Think they’re trying to be far too clever and have overthought it.

Yes I have given up too. They got quite a lot of data from me in the 'profile' bit, and then it went to a game called Futurespace. I read all the instructions but then found any click in the page said Game over, Your score 0, Try again.
Every time. Looks like I got further than most.

When I got the email saying I had been selected to participate, and if I had questions, I asked could the game be played on tablet or phone, but got no reply. Then got email with instructions, though not very clear. I decided to try on iPad and filled in the profile section, which I thought looked for far too much information. Then found it wouldn’t work on iPad. I subsequently got it to work on laptop and had a few games- managing to improve a bit in terms of distance travelled, which I think is the aim. But no feedback on whether doing well or not and certainly not a satisfying experience.

I agree that this needs to go back to the drawing board.
I have been putting my thoughts on the original thread goo.gl/1ZGNWW

I also gave up, don't think I can be bothered after all?.

So sorry to hear you have been having problems with this. We will get to the bottom of it first thing tomorrow and post an update

I’ve been playing on my desktop and had no technical problems, I’m just not sure what I’m doing half the time! I do seem to be travelling further in the later attempts, so guess I must be doing something right.

That's how I felt Lullydully , there's no 'joy' in it - I play for fun and apart from my curser disappearing so game play was very random, this just isn't fun.

Still having problems with this, and no responses to my emails. Is this all part of the process, I wonder - to see how much patience gransnetters have with tackling unproductive, boring and frustrating tasks?

I wrote in response to an email to say I was having problems understanding how to play the game ..it's very complicated,, or is it just me? I haven't heard anything back. I have never given up on testing anything before.

Hi all,

Sorry to hear about this. We have passed this onto our Insight team again and will try and get this sorted for you as soon as possible.

I can't get on it. Talk about failing at the first hurdle. What a very user unfriendly site.

Anyone else still persevering with this? On 5th April I received an email with this info:

'There is a break expected prior to the start of test 4, and because this isn't something we envisaged at the start of testing and therefore didn't communicate with you, we'd like to offer you the option of having £10 of the voucher incentive for taking part now (and the rest following completing the final tests) or the entire £20 incentive at the end (should it be more convenient for you to have the voucher in one part). '
I opted for the £10 voucher now (always a 'jam today' person!) and - 5 weeks later - have heard nothing. Very bizarre. A very helpful person from Mumsnet is investigating for me, but I'm really not impressed by the way this whole project has been handled by Zodus. Anyone else have the same problem?

Pittcity Fri 10-May-19 17:22:44

I replied to that email choosing the £10 voucher and have received nothing either.
I envisaged all this being over before now!

I too had to give up as I couldnt progress with it at all. I seemed to get in a loop! Very very frustrating!
