Will this cheque be still vald?

Sadly, yes the cheque will be fine as it was before his passing.

Yes, no problem.
I believe cheques are valid for 6 months. Could be wrong and they’re valid for longer. It’s a long time since I wrote a cheque.

We recieved a cheque from FIL as a Christmas present. Owing to DH having a fractured leg he wasn't able to pay it into the bank until Last Saturday at 10.30 am.
Sadly FIL passed suddenly that afternoon at 2.00.
Obviously we will be informing his bank tomorrow, Will they honour the cheque? It was dated 24/12/18.
