Auction sites flooded with goods from overseas

I have used a well known (probably the biggest) auction site since 2008, and recently I noticed that it is absolutely flooded with cheap items from overseas, mostly clothes. My humble offerings from a massive COVID turnout are completely swamped by this stuff. Every item is separately listed in a different colour.
Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes it's been the devil of a job to avoid buying things from China. Masks are a case in point!
You really have to set up filters well to avoid buying from sellers in China but even then because of drop shipping, the sellers claim to be UK based. Trying to support UK sellers atm.

I always tick the box on eBay which says 'UK only'.
I wish Amazon had this facility too.

Amazon seems to be awash with cheap tat these days. Not that I buy much there apart from the odd book or music downloads.

The trouble is that a lot of the goods from China are listed as being in the UK - which is true - but if you need to return them, the seller want them sent back to China! I check very carefully these days!

It's also very annoying having to scroll through pages and pages of the same items clogging up the listings even if you use filters. It makes it easy to miss other sellers' items as Notsoold says.

I should add that PayPal was very good at sorting out a refund for me when I had a problem, but it's still an annoying faff!
