Talks at the Bath Cats & Dogs Home.

Would you like to learn more about how to care for your cat or dog in an emergency? If so, this event might be of particular interest to you.

On Thursday 3rd March 2016 at 7:00pm, Veterinary Surgeon Heidi Richards (from the Bath Veterinary Group) will be delivering a presentation at the Bath Cats & Dogs Home. She'll be discussing first aid for your pets, and will cover the following issues:
•Transportation of sick animals.
•Bleeding.
•Bandaging.
•Choking.
•Dealing with road traffic accidents.
•Fits/strokes/collapsing.
•Burns.
•Heat strokes.
•Wounds.
•Stings & bites.

In addition, on Saturday 14th May 2016, the Bath Cats & Dogs Home will be hosting a talk about everything a responsible dog owner might need to know about Dog Law. This event will be led by the 'Legal Beagle' himself: Trevor Cooper, one of England and Wales' leading solicitors specialised in Dog Law.

Tickets will cost £20 per person, and the following topics will be discussed:
•Ownership of dogs.
•Noise nuisance.
•Stray dogs.
•Dangerous dogs.
•Animal Welfare Act.
•Buying & selling dogs.
