Calling ALL gransnetters – please complete our 2018 user survey - there’s £500 in voucher prizes to be won.

Here at GNHQ, it’s really important for us to understand our community This helps us to see what's working for you, what you’d like to see changed and also to help us find the most appropriate advertisers and sponsors.

So, we’d like all gransnetters – regardless of whether you’ve been here for years or you’ve just joined, whether you post regularly or you’re solely a lurker, whether you’re female or male, in the UK or overseas – to complete our user survey.

This is our fourth user survey and we’d love as many of you as possible to fill it in.

As a thank you for completing the survey, we’ve got 5 vouchers up for grabs:

- £200 voucher of winners choice (from a list).
- Two £100 vouchers of winners choice (from a list).
- Two £50 vouchers of winners choice (from a list).

All responses are confidential and used in aggregate. No individual details will be passed on to any third parties. We ask for postcode to help see where people live in the country and also to run the list of postcodes against a social segmentation tool to see how you compare to the national average.

For more details and T&Cs please click here.

Just so you know, there are 50+ (very interesting) questions, but please bear with it right to the end so you can enter the prize draw.

Click here to complete the survey.

Thanks - and good luck!

Looked at it but didn't complete. Too much personal information wanted. It's no ones business as to how much I spend on a holiday, what savings products I might or might not have, which newspapers I may or may not read, where I shop, etc, etc. There should have been a "prefer not to say" option for these questions, not just for those asking about age, political party preference, gender.

Your survey three times I've tried to complete it I give up!!!!

B9exchange Tue 22-May-18 11:48:31

If you don't want to answer a question, just leave it blank, it won't refuse to accept the rest.

Jaycee5 Tue 22-May-18 12:12:06

All done. Fingers crossed. Be interesting to see the results (which I hope will be published).

Mapleleaf Tue 22-May-18 14:13:30

Yes, I did consider that B9exchange, but if I'd done that there wouldn't have been many questions with an answer. ?, so decided to leave it.

WHY do you ask for response from all gransnetters everywhere, but the prizes are limited to only UK residents?
"Prize draw terms and conditions

To enter the prize draw, you must be:

a) 18 years old or over at the time of entry.

b) A UK resident

c) A registered member of Gransnet"

Leah50 Tue 22-May-18 15:27:43

done.

inishowen Tue 22-May-18 16:00:32

Done, but the survey jumped all over the place. I couldn't put in all the answers I wanted to.

M0nica Tue 22-May-18 16:37:53

Done, but some of my answers will be misleading. For example you did not factor second home ownership into the travel section. We commute between here and France. Were the costs of running our French home meant to be included in travel costs?

EAST went broke about six months ago. I did well in the closing down sale. Should it be on the list of clothing shops?

I skipped the make-up section. I have skin allergies that mean all my make-up is bought online from specialist suppliers. As I haven't bought branded make-up for decades I have no idea what it costs so no idea what price bracket my usual products fall into.

You did not consider indirect payments to DGC, help buying a car, odd extras for the house that whole family benefit from. How much help is given also tends to depend on our DC's financial status. If your DC are well off, and you are on a low pension the flow could be the other way. So answers to the financial section could be misleading.

M0nica Tue 22-May-18 16:40:08

Mapleleaf If you want confidentiality, all you need to do is not fill in the post code or personal details to be entered into the drawer for the £500. I always leave these boxes unticked to ensure my anonymity.

Yellowmellow Tue 22-May-18 16:42:36

Done.

Willow500 Tue 22-May-18 17:39:47

Done but also didn't complete the personal details for the draw

winifred01 Tue 22-May-18 18:23:13

Completed, but as my grandchildren are adult many questions so apply.
