Submitted form. I am a carrier of a faulty gene, passed down to my daughter which has affected two of my grandsons. They have a condition called x-linked ichthiosis. My skin is very dry, theirs is extremely dry and very flaky, like fish scales. It's a condition passed from mother to son with a 50/50 chance of any son developing the condition. We are constantly looking for moisturiser and emollients to relieve it.

Thanks for noticing its got palm oil in Pamela. I’m still narrowing it down but I suspect it disagrees with me - makes me itch!

duncanbrown Wed 07-Aug-19 13:26:09

Would love to try this out, unfortunately the form doesn't work.

duncanbrown Wed 07-Aug-19 13:31:17

Has now worked.

Went through whole long survey & nothing happened. Ugh.

Chewbacca Fri 09-Aug-19 09:29:20

The older I get, the drier the skin on my shins and legs gets. Doesn't matter which moisturiser or balm I try, the skin there just soaks it up and is as dry as sandpaper within half an hour. You could strike a match on my shins!

I suffer with a form of dermatitis on both hands. It can go from being just very dry and itchy to very hot, sore and inflamed. Sometimes i have small water filled blisters which burst and then the skin cracks. I would love to find a product which helps resolve this problem or at least makes my hand feel comfortable.

I'd forgotten all about this. Just had an email to say I have been selected and it will arrive soon.

Charleygirl5 Fri 30-Aug-19 11:28:49

Me too.

Chewbacca Fri 30-Aug-19 11:32:04

And me! Thanks Gransnet!

Teacheranne Fri 30-Aug-19 12:14:17

And me! I'm so excited as I never win anything in raffles!

MiniMoon Fri 30-Aug-19 13:40:54

I've been selected for the trial too. I've been using Aveeno which is good, but doesn't moisturize as well as I would like. Can't wait to use the Balneum.

travelsafar Fri 30-Aug-19 14:00:45

Just seen the email to say i have been picked too. Cant wait to try it. smile

Gagagran Fri 30-Aug-19 14:19:17

Me too! Looking forward to trying it.

Grannyknot Fri 30-Aug-19 15:02:01

And me! My sun-damaged itchy skin is delighted.

Auntieflo Fri 30-Aug-19 15:07:13

FishKnife Thu 19-Sep-19 18:29:27

Has anyone received their lotion yet? I have been selected for the product test but still waiting for mine to arrive.

Cherrytree59 Thu 19-Sep-19 20:33:31

Fishknife I emailed a couple of days ago to say that I had not as yet received the lotion.

I had a return email to say that there had been a delay, but the lotion would be with me in the next few days.
Fingers crossed smile

travelsafar Fri 20-Sep-19 13:01:39

No lotion here either but have been told there is a delay.

Amee Mon 23-Sep-19 07:49:27

Yes, still waiting here too, and so are my very dry itchy legs smile

Auntieflo Mon 23-Sep-19 08:56:53

I am also waiting, after being told there was a delay.

MiniMoon Mon 23-Sep-19 09:18:38

I'm still waiting too. I wonder what the hold up is?
I haven't been applying anything else, so my skin is really dry!

Gagagran Mon 23-Sep-19 09:20:09

Another one waiting!

Teacheranne Mon 23-Sep-19 09:41:56

I have a parcel waiting at the Post Office Delivery office for me, it needs to be signed for so I've had to delay rearranging the delivery until Thursday when I can wait in all day. As I have no outstanding shopping parcels, I'm hoping it is my cream!
