Done but like others have said it was a bit repetitive and long drawn out. Most of the answers needed positive or negative answers but no chance to explain why!

Ate too much and am relieved tis done, really glad the onslaught of naff TV crimbo adverts has passed, the overdose of the pressure to spend ridiculous amounts of money on a pile of tat tends to ruin my natural festive cheer, much rather be back to the usual rubbish ! ?

Yes, done but not sure whether i had filled this in previously but would have thought after the survey it would have said, already completed.

Boring and too long.

Karenj63 Sun 05-Jan-20 03:27:25

There was not joined up responses, wanting ages of grandchildren, should have been a box for none. It did go on a bit, and some of the questions were monotonous.

Christmas was okay but last year we spent the day with our grandchildren and this year it was the 'in-laws' turn, but we all got together on the 27th which turned out quite eventful by calling for an ambulance as my sister's 89 year old father-in-law had a funny turn and was unresponsive for a few minutes. General opinion was the Christmas tv was a bit rubbish this year as well.

A nice, quiet Christmas with family.

sophie56 Wed 08-Jan-20 06:27:58

All done - I am low key and only make an effort when there are children around. I feel we build it up too much and it can then fail to live up to our expectations or if one is alone it can feel miserable - it is just one day!

Lolamia91 Wed 08-Jan-20 06:58:19

A simple family christmas where I prepared all this dinner and it was delicious if I say so myself

volcanopete Wed 08-Jan-20 09:14:26

It was great to see the grandchildren but I ate too much and am still suffering as a result.

Yaracuy Wed 08-Jan-20 09:17:56

This last Christmas was the quietest I've ever had in my life. My entire family felt they were mourning for the year gone... I cooked as usual, they loved it ...Mission accomplished !

NiCH Wed 08-Jan-20 10:05:40

Done. Agree with others, it was a bit long.

s861421 Wed 08-Jan-20 10:33:02

Fantastic. My family and my sister's so 9 adults. non stop, food, drink, and board games. very little tv, everyone helped, no crosswords, and lots of laughing

lizd31 Wed 08-Jan-20 10:51:18

I travelled up north to spend Christmas with all my family. It's a very special time as I only get to see them about 3 or 4 times a year due to my health & disabilities. We always have a wonderful time together spending the whole of Christmas Day with my parents, sister & her partner, nephew & great niece

valbuk Wed 08-Jan-20 11:05:18

All done but as most of my immediate family live in Australia it was quite difficult to answer some of the questions. Many of my gifts are monetary and there was no option for that

nikhop90 Wed 08-Jan-20 11:11:28

We had all the family over on Christmas Day for a big family meal. We played board games and just had a lot of fun. I love Christmas!

Helsbells68 Wed 08-Jan-20 11:24:10

Done without too many issues

chris8888 Wed 08-Jan-20 11:36:44

The survey was long and quite in depth, not just asking about Christmas but about income, number of children and grandchildren etc.

cinders59 Wed 08-Jan-20 12:54:32

It was quieter this year, which was a good thing as other years it has been very hectic and tiring

kacky Wed 08-Jan-20 12:54:48

Very long drawn out Christmas. Didnt really feel like celebrating. Everyone I spoke to since has said the same too

elizab Wed 08-Jan-20 13:43:59

my christmas was amazing!

carol2712 Wed 08-Jan-20 14:51:23

Didn't really cater for those of us that spend Christmas at the local beach (in the UK so cold) with a picnic and flask of coffee.

Humph Wed 08-Jan-20 15:22:15

Overspent on food and drink - a lot of which is still being eaten or drunk
