If you were to have your time over again, how many of us would marry your same husband/Wife Warts n All, and for the record I certainly would

Starblaze Sun 08-Dec-19 16:38:14

Yes, we had to work on it at the start but got there in the end and have a wonderful relationship

lovebeigecardigans1955 Sun 08-Dec-19 16:40:24

Yes I would, despite his being diagnosed with MND which was heartbreaking. We were made for each other.

Pudding123 Sun 08-Dec-19 16:43:29

A big fat NO

Sara65 Sun 08-Dec-19 16:45:55

Yes, definitely choose the same man, but probably wouldn’t feel the need to get married

Mebster Sun 08-Dec-19 16:46:42

No, here, I'm sad to say. We have a troubled marriage and are both at fault. We're just not well suited but will probably hang in there just to avoid splitting up time with friends, grans and adult kids.

love0c Sun 08-Dec-19 16:47:46

Yes I would. I wouldn't be so foolish as not to. Nobody else would put up with me!!

tanith Sun 08-Dec-19 17:26:35

I would marry my first husband again but should of left
with our children 10 yrs earlier. My second husband was my soulmate and I miss him terribly.

dragonfly46 Sun 08-Dec-19 17:29:51

Yes absolutely!

sodapop Sun 08-Dec-19 17:33:38

Yes I think we all change over the years so the partnership does not always survive the changes. My second marriage is a great success but not sure we would have been so well suited in our younger days.

kittylester Sun 08-Dec-19 17:34:34

Definitely - though I'm off him today! grin

futuregran1 Sun 08-Dec-19 17:39:24

Would definitely marry him again. He is kind and thoughtful and we have two wonderful children. The only thing I'd change is getting him to cook at least twice a week from the very beginning. smile

Hetty58 Sun 08-Dec-19 17:41:00

I would marry both of my husbands over again - and probably some of my 'rejects' as well!

Davida1968 Sun 08-Dec-19 17:43:26

Yes, I'd marry DH again in a heartbeat. A kind, loving, decent, generous, and helpful man, who's company I continue to enjoy. And we still love each other.....

M0nica Sun 08-Dec-19 17:43:28

love0C my feelings exactly.

BlueBelle Sun 08-Dec-19 17:47:25

NO twice
I should not have married either it seemed so good at the time but sadly wasn’t and has really caused me a very different life to what I would have wanted However I wouldn’t be without my children so guess I d have to

Lovemybed Sun 08-Dec-19 17:47:41

Yes! I had to wait a long time for him but it was worth it.

BradfordLass72 Sun 08-Dec-19 19:13:46

In this modern climate where there is no, or little shame in having children 'out of wedlock' ( lock being the operative syllable there) I would choose not to marry, however much I loved the man. And I did love my husband dearly, still do.

I had that choice, long after I was widowed.
I adored the man I was seeing and he me, but he wanted marriage and I didn't want anyone, however sweet, living in my space. I'm too much of a loner by nature.

It caused us to break up as he wouldn't continue as we were.
Heartbreaking at the time because we were so happy but I've never regretted it.

BBbevan Sun 08-Dec-19 19:18:17

Absolutely a resounding YES .55 yrs coming up in January.

kircubbin2000 Sun 08-Dec-19 19:19:57

I knew on the honeymoon or even earlier that he was wrong but it seemed too late to call things off. I probably wouldn't have met anyone else or had children so in some ways not everything was bad.

threexnanny Sun 08-Dec-19 19:33:27

Yes. Never met anyone else I would even consider.

LadyGracie Sun 08-Dec-19 19:36:14

Definitely yes, but we would have taken up the opportunity offered of living in New Zealand.

annep1 Sun 08-Dec-19 19:39:28

Well of course he gave me lovely children so I suppose I would go back and leave him asap with my 3 children. Would have been better for both of us.

BlueSapphire Sun 08-Dec-19 20:39:54

Oh yes, I'd marry him again, and I wish he was still here so that I could tell him. I still tell him I love and miss him every day - even though sometimes he'd drive me crackers! He was such a good and kind man who would have given me the sun moon and stars, and I him.

J52 Sun 08-Dec-19 20:45:06

Yes, he’s just brought me a plate of sponge pudding and custard!
