I probably mean congratulations C of E. Yes, they are slow to change, but they are moving in what I would see as the right direction. Not only that but many of those who didn't agree with women bishops went to York Minster yesterday to support the first one to be ordained, and even the guy who wanted to make his point was allowed to do so.

It seems to be such a good example of people tolerating others views.

I'm a non-believer, but I have an affection for the CofE as I was brought up in it, and I am happy to see women priests and now bishops. I thought the interruption to the service from the objector was ridiculous - pompous twit, I thought, but good for the CofE in allowing him to have his say, even at that point smile

Yes, well done C of E. It is really good to see Women Bishops at last. It has been a long time coming. I am really glad the Church is finally catching up with the rest of society.
