Flipping threads

Hi there - we will be introducing flipping. We didn't omit it for simplicity, it's just that we haven't got around to it yet! Please bear with us.

And please, whilst we're asking for things, can we get rid of pages (or at least have the option to), and have bookmarks?

Crikey - that was a quick response. We're compiling a list of things we'd like to add to the Forums here on Gransnet, so we'll see if we can add that to it.

And can we have the "highlight our own posts" thingy, pretty please?

I know this is only my second post here, but I'm using a screen name I've never used before, anywhere. Until I get used to it, I could read something written by this Elspeth person and think 'what a load of twaddle'... .

hormonesnomore, I agree that members should have the option of anonymity if their OP is particularly sensitive.

Thanks for your response Josie. I see your point about building relationships on here but sometimes it is good to have that anonymity. I tend to stay with the same user name on Mumsnet but change when I feel I'm revealing too much personal information about myself - I don't always want to be identified in RL.

It would be nice to have the option - those who don't want to change can keep their NN and their Gransnet identity.
