"Walk on the wild side" - Lou Reed! I had a very devout, straitlaced mother so my teenage years were quiet to say the least. I escaped for University but even there, I just couldn't afford to go overboard on anything. Married young and still with the same husband 52 years on I wonder what my life would have been like had I kicked over the traces and let rip. Looking at some of the wreckage in the lives of friends maybe my mother wasn't so wrong all.

We've gone a bit dark there, Leesa . I insisted on Don't Fear the Reaper as one of the songs to be played at our last birthday party, though DH said nobody would dance to it. I dragged a friend onto the dance floor and we stayed there, just the two of us, for the duration. It's a very long song....
