Me too marydoll what is going on surely they could warn us when things are going to change instead of silently moving or removing things even if it’s temporary it’s only respectful to tell us it won’t be there or has moved to xyz ?

We do so need it to be able to clear away things like the Games threads.

I wondered if perhaps the techies had been doing some maintenance overnight.
I used to dread Monday morning when I was teaching and would find that the IT systems a were down after maintenance. Even the phones didn't work.
I would then have to battle with the tech dept, who would deny any responsibility.

I emailed GNHQ about it last week.
I also had another problem. If I bookmark on a 2nd or subsequent page I can't go back to previous pages. This seemed to have been rectified after HQ acknowledged my email, but this morning it's back.

I never thought to look until seeing this thread but me too! There it was, gone!

A while ago, I noticed I'd lost the bit at the top where there's the option to see the first post, on any page of a thread.
It's back now, tho.

Search function only works in Desktop mode for me, on my phone
It would be nice to have it back.

Maybe they're busy sorting things so that we can see all the OP's posts highlighted, on a thread??

I hope this will be restored soon I need to get rid of a whole load of games in my newsfeed as they are building up big time and incredibly annoying and still no box on the bottom to use

My tablet keeps switching between mobile and desktop mode, as I'm reading it tonight. It's driving me crazy and is now stuck on moble site!?

I see that Lily wrote on the 6th that they were looking into it. Don't want to hassle but surely they've had time by now. If it's not broke, why fix it? Why not fix the things that really are broke?

As I say, I'm sure everyone's doing their best and these are only little niggles in the grand scheme of things, but if the IT department is stressed, why did they have to touch the mobile/Desktop function at all?

There are things you can do on the mobile site that you can't do on the desktop. And, I think, vice versa.

It's the desktop layout I prefer. Much easier for my rheumatoid hands.
