What do you need to include?

I came across an article on house ownership I am not sure if we are joint owners or tenants in common I do remember the solicitor asking me when I made a new will a couple of years ago , but I was unsure, they have our deeds and the firm they took over did the legal work can they tell me and would they charge me for checking for me ? Also if we decided to change from joint ownership to tenants in common how expensive would this be and what are the advantages?

I have a small amount of savings in my own name which I want to leave to charity. If I die first will this wish be carried out if I include this in my will or does it automatically become my husbands to do with what he wishes.

Where should you store your will?

I would just ask my family to make a suitable donation I wouldn`t force them by making it a condition in my will.

If someone has collected something over many years, nothing of any great value, say pictures that they saw in charity shops and the like, greetings cards they have received or bought at a museum shop and framed with everyday photo frames from high street shops and supermarkets, and so on, and lots of them are on walls in their home, so not of monetary value but nevertheless of sentimental value to them, what can be done about such a collection?

Will Cancer Research UK act as professional executors in an estate? If so, do you require the will to stipulate a minimum legacy to do so? What happens if, in the future, assets have to be disposed of to pay for care fees reducing the size of the legacy to below that minimum? Would CRUK still act? Is it just a risk you would take?

I assume that your trusted legal partners deal with the legal work. Do you have partners throughout the UK in major towns and cities?

I have cut one of my children out of my will can they contest the will to try and get a share of the money ? I have divided her share between my grandchildren (her children) instead when they turn 30

I made my will about some years ago but have moved home since then so the property mentioned in the will to be left to my son is obviously invalid now. I asked the solicitor involved in that will if I should update the new address but was told not to as it would make the will invalid which rather surprised me.
I would just like to know if that is correct please?
