I don't mind the car crashes but don't like seeing legs being broken on tracks or fields.

That would be interesting to see! Didn't know they raced.Only get BBC America,which is a laugh. You get all kinds of great TV and good and bad stuff from us. wish I could get a swing box and see what you get to see.

Actually v few drivers seem to get injured these days. Its Seems to be a safe but an exciting sport.

They do flip over easily,don't they? I like to watch races like the INdy 500 those long races are a lot more dangerous.

Ever see a demolition derby or a monster truck race? I find it quite funny.

Indy500 race is. A monster truck race is just for fun. Trucks on steroids with HUGE tyres. Demolision Derby are old cars racing around in different circles running into each other.The last one standing wins or I should say running and able to move.

Just asked hubby about the race your watching. He said they have improved the aerodynamics and the race cars don't flip over like they use to.

I used to live in Monaco, just above the start of the GP on Boulevard Albert 1er. I hated it because they started practising on the Thursday and the noise was deafening. I had to have a pass to get to my own flat and all the bars and restaurants were full. My daughters, who were teenagers, loved it, and used to watch the race from the harbour -they knew all the boys who worked on the yachts.
