I can still remember a room in The White Elephant pub [Northampton]...way back in the 60s, that was a 'Men Only' bar. Oh how I longed to waltz in and order a small dry sherry!

Saw the comments he made on Tv this morning, I'm still seething! I had thought that feminism had almost swung too far in some respects...young women becoming guilt ridden about having to have careers and the perfect family....when perhaps they would like to have a few years off just to wallow in the glory of babies and toddlers, and are made to feel they should not. Or feeling they have to embrace everything a man does and says such as with the attitudes to drinking and sex, just to be accepted. But this plank has reminded me that women still have to fight and shout for equality and not to be seen as lesser creatures by some.

Well, if he was 'getting out of my marital bed in the morning' it would be with my foot behind him! Wassock!
