Il Makiage - have you tried it?

Yes I use this having got the shade the website recommended - the coverage is pretty good. The only issue I have with it is the actual applicator which is a sort of plastic spatula in the lid - it leaves a mess round the top of the bottle and the lid doesn't seem to screw on tightly enough. That said I apply it in a few areas on my face and use a brush to blend it in so it's only a minor annoyance.

I too followed the guide and with reservations went with the shade suggested. Really pleased with the shade sent, yes it is foundation but I don’t think the coverage is heavy. The texture is lovely and easy to apply. Love it!

Fennel

'maquillage'is the french word for 'makeup' . So I suppose 'Il Makiage' is the english equivalent.

It's Arabic! smile

Yes - I followed the colour choice guide and got a really really good match. I am not good at choosing in a store, have wasted lots of money in the past. I bought the 'I woke up like this' formulation. It IS a make up not meant to be a tinted moisturiser, so if you don't want coverage you must be very light with sponge or brush. Works brilliantly for toning down my ruddy colouring that Zoom really emphasises.

That's interesting, I keep getting ads for it popping up and was quite interested in the concealer. I think I might have another look at it.

It's quite light - more medium cover, I think - but can be built up for full cover. I've been impressed by it. It feels very light on the skin. I also tried the concealer and I like this too. I did the online questionnaire which aims to match you with the correct shade and, much to my surprise, the shade is spot on!

I think it's an American brand, so American English, perhaps?

No, I haven't tried it - is it quite thick or very light?

Just about to try Il Makiage foundation - try for 14 days, then return for a refund if not happy. Has anyone else tried it?
