Please does anyone know how to transfer my iTunes onto my new mac? Have googled it but the replies are massively technical. Think I might just fling computer through window. Disappointed cos long journey tomorrow and I wanted to listen to an audio story.

I think you need a cable with USB at both ends and connect your two computers. Have you still got your old one?
Do you have your installation DVD for the old MaC? Sorry if all this doesn't help I always found Itunes on the installation DVD.

That's the trouble with Apple- you need an expert and some spare cash to iron out problems

Thanks expatmaggie, will try to find cable but no DVD for installation. It's infuriating isn't it to spend so much with Apple then have to buy more to use it! Daunting to be at the bottom of a steep learning curve but DETERMINED to sort it.

I was started on Apple computers in 1997 by a friend's husband who sold them In the meantime all these computers are museum pieces!

I have Mac Mini at the moment and I always buy the Missing Manual by David Pogue. Whatever your system MacOX is, then there is a book by him which definitely helps. He has written about ITunes and I Life and can really explain things step by step.You can get them on amazon, sometimes cheap.
