Actually I should have said you just un-tick the box next to the track you do not want on your ipod. It can be re clicked afterwards.

Did you create a playlist when you put your music on your iPod or did you put the whole library on it?

If you created a playlist, then you can just delete the tracks from the playlist which won't affact the library. You will need to connect the iPod to your computer. If no playlist, then you are stuck with it!

Janthea could you run me through that, please? Can't see how! Thanks.

JessM You don't need to delete it from the master libary - just your playlist on your iPod. smile

Hi shy
I would be in a lot of trouble with DH if I started deleting music from his mega master music file!!!!!. shock
But I will try that with podcasts - thanks a lot

I think you're right, shysal. Keep meaning to do it....

Jess, I discovered by trial and error that to remove things from ipod you delete it from the itunes page on your computer then attach device and it will re-synch. Or maybe there is another way??

I find the software, which DH has kindly installed on my computer, pretty un-intuitive. Makes me swear a lot. How on earth do I take things OFF my iPod???
Also finding and downloading podcasts.... grrr

I've never had that problem - everything I have bought has been fine. Perhaps you should try their customer services.

Does anyone else have trouble with iTunes? I think they are an absolute swizz. I bought the Gary Barlow Jubilee song, SING, which says it is 4.22 mins long. After 2mins it cuts off. Same with others I have bought. Because it has a long introduction Don't Cry for me Argentina never actually got to those words.angry
