Yes, it's being doing that for a while. I wonder if GNHQ takes a thread away to scrutinise it for possible contraventions of the rules, and then puts it back again as if nothing had happened?

We got taken off last night.
Apparently lots of people looking for porn were directed to Gransnet.
..... The site crashed....... so may hits!!!!!!!

Even today when clicking on 50 shades of grey hair, it directed you to Sport..


Also people looking for barbecued squirrels ended up on Gransnet.!!!

It could happen - when my granddaughter was about eight she began to show signs of early puberty and when I looked up 'premature sexual development' I was offered some horrible sites meant for paedophiles. (She was treated successfully, but it was worrying because it can be caused by a tumour on the pituitary gland).
Another time, I was doing some research on the historic treatment of children in schools, and when I looked up 'corporal punishment' you can imagine the kind of sites I was offered!

When google was still reasonably new I once typed in Sussex into the search box when looking for a possible hotel. Whether I put a space in by accident I do not know but I got all sorts of websites!

Johanna this is a much more plausible explanation than my theory that RBS were failing to pay the tech bills.

I think I might have said this on another thread but when I put in 'toys' as a search, my eyes were opened as never before.
