Oh yes. grin So you did.

It'll be because you are used to it being the smaller font.

(they haven't got a medium one. There's a smaller one and a bigger one)

Just leave it to the cat to sort out. hmm

Ah anno , beware, 'tis a slippery slope!

Anne58 Tue 27-Nov-12 17:05:51

jO5 if you look at the OP, that was one of the things that I had managed to notice!

jO5 Tue 27-Nov-12 16:26:38

Those two 'T' at the top, by the search box, changes the size of the font.

Nelliemoser Tue 27-Nov-12 15:41:50

This only applies to windows.
Were you using a word processing program which has the font size at the top? Try "view" in the top tool bar. That has some size stuff on it. Which is more likely to have been caused by a walking cat than the next possible solution.

If you go into the "Start Menu" "Control Panel" there should be a box that says Display Properties.

Click on "Settings" and it shows the screen resolution. The higher the number shown on the slider the smaller the font size on your machine. play about with it till its suits.
Failing that blame the cat!

phoenix, you have posted some of the most enjoyable contributions on these forums. Don't worry about being odd! You're not that odd, for goodness' sake. In fact, you make perfect sense to me. hmm

Ana Tue 27-Nov-12 15:31:13

I think you just dare to post your non-sequiturs and quirky thoughts more often than some of us, that's all phoenix! If you could hear the rubbish DH and I come out with on a day to day basis that nobody else would understand....grin

Anne58 Tue 27-Nov-12 14:31:45

I know what you mean Movedalot grin but I do worry sometimes that my brain is sort of wired differently!

Movedalot Tue 27-Nov-12 14:21:46

What's wrong with 'odd' Phoenix? The last thing I want is to be just live everyone else!

Anne58 Tue 27-Nov-12 13:50:27

Sorry petallus , blush I seem to have posted quite a bit lately about my mogs, (Fed up with fluff, for example) so sort of took it as read. (Note to self: be clearer in future, or people will think you are a bit odd)

You might have mentioned that Maurice is an animal (I'm assuming cat). My mind was boggling!!

crimson Tue 27-Nov-12 13:23:26

grin Thanks ladies; you've cheered me up!!

gracesmum Tue 27-Nov-12 10:30:33

As long as he hasn't made a deposit on your keyboard grin

Anne58 Tue 27-Nov-12 10:27:53

No, he's finished his on-line banking for today. He just wanted to check that the vole he deposited in the night safe had been credited to his account.

Ana Tue 27-Nov-12 10:26:29

Yes - as long as Maurice doesn't do it again! grin

Anne58 Tue 27-Nov-12 10:24:47

You are clever, Ana ! Will it stay like that now?

Ella46 Tue 27-Nov-12 10:24:30

Sometimes my font size changes without permission, then I do what Ana says!! grin

Ana Tue 27-Nov-12 10:15:04

Try pressing Ctrl and + or - until you get the size you want.

Anne58 Tue 27-Nov-12 10:13:45

Maurice just strolled across the keyboard (I didn't imagine that, because I saw him do it!) and now the font seems smaller.

Now, I know there is a thing up there ^ for small font size and medium font size, but when I switch to medium it is much bigger than it used to be and feels like being shouted at. (Victoria Wood said that about library books in large type)

Any suggestions, ladies?
