Our local Age UK run a 'mouse house' where they give free training - try yours?

Hi,
you mentioned you needed to move photos. But where did you need to move them to, if you don't mind me asking. Is it from one part of your pc to another part, or is it to upload them to a web site.

I am sure it is possible to sell on ebay and to add photos, using a mobile phone with camera. I buy all the time, but have not been brave enough to sell on that site yet.
I have, however, used Gumtree, which couldn't be simpler, using my laptop and digital camera images. If you know how to load your photos onto a computer you can't go wrong. When placing an ad you will be asked to browse to choose the picture and a window will show your files from which to choose.
I hope you will find someone to guide you through the first attempt.

Warning- don't try to put photos on ebay with an ipad. It doesn't work- don't know why. You have to use a laptop or a PC. The way sel describes works very well.

Dernees there's another current thread about selling on Ebay I see. Lots of people with first hand experience - I'm sure you'll get some help there.

DerneesDo you have a digital camera? If so, photograph your items and save them to a folder on your desktop. On Ebay there will be on option to upload your photos and it will ask 'browse?' So then go to your desktop folder and upload the photo for the item.

If you don't have a digital camera, I'm not sure how you would do it, sorry.

Dernees Do you have a computer class at your Local Library they are very good and will take their time showing you,no one can be more "un techi" than me and I have mastered the know how after a couple of sessions with a neighbours DIL,very easy once you have done it a couple of times,I wrote down the sequence in my own type of shorthand to prompt me. best of luck.

Is there a camera club where you live? I bet if you asked them for advice they would tell you what to do - might even volunteer to help.

Apparently there are experienced ebay users who will actually sell your goods for you. I have just signed up and I found that information very helpful.
Perhaps being a novice like me, you should buy something first to get a feel for how it works. Some items such as books are very cheap.
I also do not have a clue about the photos, not being particularly technologically minded.

eBay have a very good guide to using their site - have a look!
Good luck.
