The whole of this website seems to have been taken over by pictures of apples. Is it just me? Or just my iPad?

You lot are just not looking. They are there if you believe in them Just like fairies.

Every time someone says that they don't see any apples, a Cox's Orange Pippin falls off the twig into the ditch.

I believe in a nicely chilled white wine - can't see any of that either. grin

Just my iPad and me then.......I like apples but the whole page of forums list is covered in apples so I can't see the headings.

I didn't see any apples either, but thinking about apples, as one does, led me naturally to cider and then, as I dislike beer, to pubs. Mostly, there is little choice, unless by happy chance I'm in East Anglia where Aspalls reigns supreme and a beautiful cider called Lady Jennifer is sometimes available. Any other recommendations from cider drinkers?

MrBags is fond of an occasional Kopparberg fruit cider.

Noted! I'd very much like to know the location of the pubs where these lovely tastes are available.

There is a town near me that now has a sustainability group. They invite people in the area to take any spare apples to a central location and then they processes them and bottle fresh pressed press apple juice to sell. I think they use an old apple press at a local NT house. Very good it is too.
