Torn between the 7 and 10 inch.

I've no doubt each size has it's merits, but what's the general concensus on size here, ladies?

I do have to use reading glasses, and my handbag is large enough for the 10 inch, but seems a bit cumbersome for taking photos? Is it?

Is the 7 inch a bit too small for films/print etc?

I want an all rounder (well don't we all........ha!)

Thanks in advance for your views. All, very much welcome.

My friends and family are on 10 inch ones, they say that they are easier to read. Hope that helps.

We have the 7" I wear glasses for reading and its fine I read the papers on it daily I tried someone's 10" but I found it too heavy to hold and read. The small one is just lighter and easier to handle .

I have the larger size, OH has the mini. Larger one easier to read, mini lighter, easier to hold. OH has the pen with the mini and I think that is a good idea.

Forgot to add that you can enlarge whatever is on the screen with a simple finger slide action.

My sister has the 7inch and loves it. She has problems with her hands but has no problems with the it. She now finds the 10inch too heavy. Hope that helps. Oh the 7inch is easy to read as well as being light.

Apparently the original min iPad was slow with a poorer screen quality due to not having such a good processor as the standard iPad, but the latest version is much improved.i bought my iPad before the mini appeared and would love to have the small one now that it has improved resolution for photos etc, as this is quite heavy in my bag when I go granny boasting!!!

The mini used to be so much lighter so less of a strain to hold. However the new IPADAir is full size and very light so you would get a better reader experience. I love my mini for reading books and it's size but use the full size IPAD for emails, searches and of course Gransnet.grin
