I use Facebook for keeping in contact with a few friends. One FB friend in particular posts up new photos but I don't seem to be able to access them. She has told me to look on Newsfeed which I know I have seen occasionally but I can't find it now looking at my FB page. Can anyone help please - thanks?

They have recently changed it a bit.
On the top right, you'll see your name and profile pic. Click on Home.
Now on the left of your screen you should see your name and your profile pic.
Underneath that it says Newsfeed.
Click on that!

The other thing is that FB sometimes takes it upon itself to decide which of your friends' stuff you want to see, and which you don't.,
The other way is to go to your friend's page and look there.
If all that doesn't work, it could be that your friend has made her pics visible only to family, for instance.

Thanks so much Jane I will try this method.

My friend has asked me to look at the new pics of her grandchildren so I know it should be available.

That's the best bit about Facebook, being able to see photos of family and friends, but it can indeed take it upon itself to decide what you can and can't see.

I tried to share some photos of the grandchildren at Coughton Court over the Easter weekend, and they didn't appear on my own newsfeed or timeline. I tried several times then gave up. My family then asked why I'd posted them so many times as they showed up 3 times on their newsfeed. Grrrrr.....

I had that too, Aka, when I tried to post a link from a friend to my son's site some months ago, about a concert. I discovered that I had clicked on the teeny weeny almost invisible arrow at the top right of the link, which hides links from your own page if you don't wish to see them! So of course my son wanted to know why I had posted three links to him.

But because I had hidden all the links to it on my page and his, I couldn't find it again to unhide it...

I'll check that out Jane thanks for the heads up.

I've not been using Facebook very long and am only just getting used to it - but now everything on my news feed has vanished and so have all my messages. I've got the list on the left hand side and the ads on the right hand side but nothing in the middle - also my list of friends has disappeared. Have I done something silly or is it the site?

Its all back!! - must have been a glitch with the site

Is it just my experience or has anyone noticed how people are posting messages to the dead on Facebook? Cannot decide whether it is exhibitionism or just fills a need to communicate with that person. confused

sunseeker I had the same thing happen, so yes definitely a site problem.

I had this problem and my DD asked me if I was 'following' the person concerned. This may help if you 'follow'
