Has anyone had problems installing updates with windows 10 on computer. Twice now I’ve had to reset my computer. Takes for ever. Is there a way to do updates manually? Seriously considering a Mac!

I hate windows 10 Rolande . My old laptop packed up recently and the only replacement I could get quickly (I need it for work) was installed with windows 10. It's a pain to navigate and I agree the updates take forever .

I have turned updates off at the moment, as there have been no end of problems on my PC after updates. .
My PC will have to be flattened (not literally) and everything re-installed. I'm fed up with it all, it will be such a hassle having to find passwords for software which was installed eons ago.

I thought it was just me! The last batch of W10 updates have turned my laptop to treacle. If a system restore tomorrow doesn't fix it then it's probably time to trash it and re-instal everything hmm. Aaaaagh!

Something happened to my email account after a Windows update. People were complaining that they were receiving 32 attatchmentss of the same document instead of only one! I was not at all popular.sad

I hate Windows 10 and have complained vociferously on previous threads. Uploading it trashed my laptop and I ended up buying a new one with Windows 10 already installed!

It took me all day Saturday to load the update.

I have a Windows 10 laptop and several Apple devices. Macs aren't perfect either. One tip I would pass on would be to google any updates before installing them. If there are any serious problems, you are forewarned and can put off updating until a fix is rolled out.

A couple of weeks ago the desktop came with the message that the latest update had failed to install. I am just hoping that it will not have messed everything up.indon’t want To do the reset it suggested.

If you are getting any issue with your web browser such as javascript error, browser add-on/extension problem, flash is not installed, browser antivirus toolbar like AVG. So, you can contact Google Chrome Support For Windows 10 browsersupportnumbers.com/google-chrome-customer-support/

since I installed Windows 10 I have all the time problems with the PC or with the updates. I think I'll go back to Windows 8.

My laptop came with Windows 10 already installed and I've never had a problem with it.

I have 3 PCs, all homebuilt by me, and a cheap Chinese tablet.
One PC is still windows 7, all the rest are Win10.
All install Win 10 updates between 20 mins to 40 mins, with no fuss.
All my copies of Win 10 are OEM and cost between £2 and £10, for just the keycode number, Win 10 itself is always direct download from Microsoft site so guaranteed latest fixed version.
I would never buy a PC from a shop or dealer and never have any issues with my PCs that cannot be dealt with quickly and cheaply.
Most people who have come to me with update problems have PCs full of junk, seemingly never maintained and just run until they fail, from the cheapest to the most expensive.
