BT kerfuffle

I recently complained to BT about the large increase in my monthly bill. I'd sent a very grumpy email! I was contacted by a very nice Irish lady who talked me through my complaint, posted me a hard copy of my bill having explained it, and transferred me to another department.
Long phone call. However, end result was massive series of upgrades on phone, broadband, TV, netflix etc and all for almost £15 pcm less than I was paying before. Yes it was a palaver and took time but the end result was extremely positive. It certainly paid me to complain. Go on Grans - make a fuss, it could be to your advantage!

I have complained this morning about my AA renewal notice which was up £40 on last year. I first looked up what other companies were charging, I also told them that my OH has now stopped driving. They reduced the bill by nearly £100. - really chuffed! I must tackle BT next.

Good luck Saxifrage. Must check out AA. My Green Flag subscription has rocketed.

Thanks Jane10 you have reminded me that I must contact BT. Our bill is currently astronomical, surely it could be less!

Thanks so much Jane10 for giving me the kick I needed to chase up and question
1) BT
2) Car Insurance
3) AA Cover
4) Pet Insurance
They have all gone up this year again so am spending tomorrow morning on the phone to all of them.
