Apart from the usual CodeWords and crosswords I enjoy Words with Friends and Word Jewels. How do you while away the time with your favorite iPad games? I’m sure there are lots more I could try. Preferably free! Any ideas?

I play Solitaire, it's over quickly.
And Scrabble with a couple of friends.

I used to play Majong but drifted from it.
Went through a Candy Crush phase and eventually wearied of it.

Played Candy crush for years but don’t now
I have played Words with friends for over five years
Puzzles words you can also play with friends away or make new ones I often try new games then drift away but those two have stuck for every oh yes I also play a general knowledge game with about five or six ‘away’ friends called Quiz Planet that’s on messenger that’s good

Solitaire - been playing it for years long before iPads came out. I've tried other games but always go back to it - husband is the same.

Every morning we have a competition to see who gets the best score in Spider Solitaire Daily Challenge. We are both competitive! I love the look on his face when I beat him!

I like Fishdom but DGD1 set it up for me and was so proud that she got me to quite a high level . She did not realise I might not be as good as she is at playing and starting at the beginning would be easier for me but I do find it a peaceful occupation .

Alchemy MahJong and Spider Solitaire are my go to games. Only last 15 minutes or so and I get bored after that so they're ideal.

Not exactly a game, but I good way of passing some of your lockdown time - I found a Jigsaw app called Magic Puzzles. It's free (although you do have to endure the usual adverts), and configurable to suit you.

And I am also on "Words with Friends", under the name lefthanded999 if anybody is looking for a new opponent.

I like puzzle page. It has about 8 different puzzles each day. Word puzzles, maths puzzles and visual matching puzzles

Jigsaw bug
Jigsaw HD

They are all free but I do occasionally buy packs whic are very cheap.
