We live in an area where there is little to no service in our home.
I've Googled but not have any luck in finding out.
Thanks

I’ve just swapped to SIM only with 3 and have wifi calling. My previous SIM was with Virgin and did not allow wifi calls although I understand EE do. (Virgin use the EE network). Vodafone also theoretically support wifi calling. If you identify a deal you would like then a double check on the providers web site will confirm * jeanie*. Happy swapping.

We get it on 3

Thanks for that, must say not heard of 3 is it a new company in the mobile market?
I'll contact the company when we get back.

3 has been around for decades but have very patchy reviews, some think they're great and others wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. I'm in the latter category.

I have wifi calling on my current contract EE phone. My last phone (SIM only but with EE) had wifi calling enabled, however my phone model was not suitable for wifi calling.

It's not a case of just turning wifi calling on, you need to check your network provider, your SIM only package and your phone model are all suitable for wifi calling.

EE and iPhone works for me. I also get tethering for my iPad.

Same as Bagatelle, and very useful it was too when I was away from home in a poor signal area

I’m also with 3, use WiFi calling and have had no problems at all with them.

Thanks everyone, I'm going to check out the major service providers and make sure this time I get what I need.

I had just recently changed to Plusnet for a better deal than EE who I was with but didn't realised they had enabled my phone for making calls from home.
Plusnet do not support Wifi Calling and even they have suggested I move.
My problem is people trying to contact me when I am at home.

I am wanting to change to EE because it is the only company that has reception where I am hoping to move. I am not sure how I swap from Vodaphone to them - I have a very cheap deal with them at present as I did not take up the offer of the new phone.

I think I will need to consult my children about this!

I have just looked at the black Friday 3 deal with is a good offer
8GB 12 month contract for £8 unlimited
This has a £5 discount but is increased in May next year which you are not told the amount until February. So that needs to be considered.
BUT I am not sure about the non included parts of the contract so will need to ask my son and daughter.
I have still to check out the other service providers though.

I was with EE for many years but they only gave me
425MB of data which is nothing for £7 a month. even when I said I was leaving they only offered me 1GB.

I bought into the Black Friday deal with 3 which is now working well, picking up the Wifi at home, I am so pleased.
Hubby signed up as well.
8GB unlimited calls and text for £8 per month.
