We are looking at holidaying in Ibiza in April, with our DD and 2 year old GS. They would fly from Netherlands and us from Scotland.
Does anyone have any advice on where to stay please.
Places and accommodation suggestions much appreciated.
Thank you.

We go to Santa Eulalia most years in May. It is not just a holiday resort so has all sorts of shops. There is a nice prom and a lovely beach. There is an interesting small museum (Can Ros) and an old house which has an interesting exhibition about the river (Can Planetes). The river walk is nice and there are regular buses to other parts of the island including Ibiza Town. There are lots of low key bars and restaurants. I hope this helps.

Yes, I have enjoyed S Eulalia in the past. Good connections with other parts of the island but a much more relaxed area for grandparents and DGS. Whether it would suit DD depends on what sort of holiday she wants. I liked it and would go again.

we had two nightmare journeys to Ibiza because of stag and hen parties making up the majority of the passengers . They sang shouted flirted over our heads and behaved terribly . We hoped the journey home would be better but is was just as bad . We would never fly to Ibiza again .

Thank you all for your comments, sorry to hear about about your bad experience Floradora9, we had something similar on the flight home from Mexico, nine hours of a family talking and shouting and moving round the plane for the whole 9 hour night flight. Crew were useless and just shrugged.
St Eulalia sounds ideal DD just needs a to "chill", however the price for flights from the Netherlands is scary so we may need to change plans, hey ho!

I have been to Ibiza several times Floradora9 and have never encountered so much as a raised voice on the flights in or out. I suppose it depends on the time of year and the airport you are flying from though.

I love Santa Eulalia which is a very cosmopolitan town. Lovely cafes and restaurants (although the main beach is man made and not ideal for families). There are some "proper" beaches on the outskirts of the resort but you would have to look for them and probably have transport too. Santa Eulalia does not attract the 24hr party people like some of the other resorts as I believe there is only one nightclub in the town. This resort revolves around the harbour and the beautiful marina (with the millionaires yachts) where everyone goes out for an evening stroll. There is a lovely little land train, a good few shops (if you like shopping) and a nice craft market too but not much in the way of entertainment for children . You might be better off going to one of the more family orientated resorts. Most of the resorts are easily reached by water taxi (which is really a little ferry) and you can boat hop from resort to resort easily.

We are doing a villa in Majorca with a 2, 4 and 14 year old. You can book villas separately from flights ,the rent is quite reasonable. Try James Villas or Owners Direct.
