I have just listened to a totally brilliant radio play on Radio 4. It was called "Bridge" and was on today at 2.15 pm.

Definitely worth picking up on iPlayer.

I heard it too Mishap I thought it was very well done, both from the writing and acting point of view.

It was excellent as they often are. Today's was especially good.

I listen to Radio 4 at home and in the car, every radio in the house is tuned to it. There are some programmes that I could easily give a miss (Melvyn Bragg, In Our Time confused) but on the whole I enjoy it.

We only have 1 TV which is in the sitting room, and that doesn't get turned on until about 7.30 pm. The afternoon dramas are, as GillT57 frequently excellent. I once nearly ended up in Wales due to missing the correct exit on the motorway, as I was so engrossed in the play! blush

I too cannot stand Melvyn Bragg!

I love Radio 4 during the day, especially at the weekend when you get Poetry Please and the Book Club etc. I do sewing whilst listening out in the conservatory.

I though today's play was exceptional.

Radio 4 is wonderful listening I rarely listen to anything else. I doubt if there is better Radio anywhere else in the world.
From news and current affairs to the 6:30 pm comedy slot. Quality dramas and documentaries. Not all by any means heavy in content. Lots about ordinary people going about their lives.

I listened too. Excellent play, the theme reminded me of 'it's a wonderful life'. x
