Is anyone watching this? If so can you tell me how, at the beginning of last night's episode, she came to be waking up in bed in the detective's family home? I'm sure at the end of the last episode, she was somewhere looking at pictures of the victims. confused

I think I need to watch it again from the beginning. Without having little doze-offs.

Yes, jingle because for starters, it is called From Darkness grin

... and I stopped watching because I realised I wasn't engaged with any of the characters and I couldn't give a hoot about them. Pity, because I like Anne-Marie from Shameless.

It is so dull . I do hope we get somewhere soon. I loose the plot during the week from Sunday to Sunday! Not very likeable people.

P.S. Appalling behaviour at a wedding.

I thought I'd give it another go last night but it just gets duller and duller. And little things keep annoying me. She travels backwards and forwards with a small suitcase but seems to have an endless supply of clothes. Rips her hand open [blood everywhere] and yet goes to a wedding a day or so later with no sign of bandages [or even Elastoplast]. Is suddenly living in a flat [when did she rent and furnish it??]. And the detective bloke reminds me of Karl Pilkington from An Idiot Abroad confused. Agree about Anne Marie Duff though; probably the only bad thing she's ever done...loved her in 'Elizabeth'[with Tom Hardy] at the time when most people were watching the Helen Mirren version on another channel.

She was brilliant as John Lennon's mother in Nowhere Boy too.

Oh, I'd forgotten that one; great film. Can't wait to see her in Suffragette and would love to see her on the stage.

We were looking for the plaster and did spot a big Elastoplat coloured thing. The detective rented the flat and kitted it out. No lack of police finances there then.

You lot definitely watch more thoroughly than I do! grin I didn't notice the lack of bandage at the wedding. Perhaps she managed with a see through plaster.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 19-Oct-15 13:29:14

Sorry lullydully. You already mentioned a plaster.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 19-Oct-15 13:30:28

I think "Beyond darkness" would be a much better title. grin

Tegan Mon 19-Oct-15 13:36:36

Damn; I'll have to watch it again now to see the plaster....

..I did think that she was wearing a red dress just in case it started seeping...[shouldn't I be concentrating on the 'ahem' plot though?]. This is reminding me of Broadchurch and wondering about handbags and who's minding the baby stuff....

Bring back Adam Galgleish. He could stop us falling asleep.
