Is anyone enjoying the "River of Music" being played from 9 am to 9 pm today?
It is so refreshing not to have the constant chatter or patronising stuff spouted! Perhaps, just the announcement of what is being/going to be played might relieve the music, but per-lease spare us more than that!

It is truly wonderful - I have been lying by the woodburner just soaking it up. It is ideal - all the lovely music, but you are left to choose whether you want to know more about it and follow information online. I am listening via the TV, so the name of the music comes onscreen should you want to know what you are listening to.

The only minor downside is that it has replaced "The Choir" and "Words and Music" (readings/poems/music - no commentary either) which are usually in a Sunday afternoon.

It would be wonderful if there were more rivers of music to come.

I listened to it on my phone while at DDs is afternoon (everyone was busy and DH and I were surplus to requirements). What a treat to have end to end music and no irritating commentary. All the information I wanted was on screen. Very refreshing! More please!

It's a bit like the Slow TV programmes - wonderful stuff!
