I love this program and it never ceases to amaze me the things that the patients go to the GP for.

I dont enjoy watching the little ones going in for booster injections though, they are perfectly happy then they are stabbed in one arm then the other.

They must be wondering why their mum or dad allows this to happen to them.
Plus all they get is a sticker for their sorrows, bless them!!!!!

Ooh yes, those vaccinations were painful to watch. Sometimes, with young children, I think the nurse spends too long telling them it will only hurt a bit instead of getting on with the job!

I too avidly watch this programme. I love the variety of personalities and approaches of each of the GPs. They all seem very open-minded and kind and it is impressive.

What I enjoy most is seeing the wonderful characters who arrive at the surgery to see the doctor. All human life is there!

Gp's Behind Closed Doors, yes very enjoyable programme but how come that surgery has such nice caring doctors, every one of them they take their time send them for hospital appointments as soon as needed and are all very patient and caring .... ummm
Amazing how some go with a sniffle or simple pain two days after getting it !
I too cringe when those little toddles get stabbed, enough to traumatise them for life ... mine were all very good and never had much problem with getting their injections thankfully I think part of the problem is they have two the same day I don't think mine ever had two together so the first one is a shock then the second one is expected and feared You would think there was a better way found by now
