Watched the first episode and thought it was very good. Found out it's a box set on BBC IPlayer, think we might watch some more tomorrow.

Just checked and there it is on the iPlayer, how odd I thought they advertised it as a completely new series?

Tanith it is a completely new series - but I think that it is the trend now to also release series in "box sets" so that people can set their own viewing schedule. Sky does it, all Netflix series are available "on demand" and BBC are "getting with the programme" by doing this.

I may give Hard Sun a try - is it futuristic?

Once again, I didn’t like the violence, but that’s just wimpy me. Will continue to watch it.

Found it a bit confusing at first but no doubt all will become clear as it progresses I did find it left me feeling a bit depressed as well!

We watched the first episode last night and were going to ration ourselves and watch the rest weekly.
However, I awoke at 4-30 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep, so went downstairs, made coffee, picked up the biscuit tin and had a marathon watching session!
I finished episode 6 about 30 minutes ago, having enjoyed the whole series!

Juggernaut grin
Have downloaded it to watch, it must be gripping!

We are about half way through. DH and I are discussing what we would do with only 5 years left. I'm not sure that I'd believe it but he thinks he'd rather not live to find out.

Watched it but found it a bit unbelievable- Spoiler alert- and the 2 main characters being chased by all those figures in black was actually funny. As for what she is going to do with the info. Even an old gran like me knows that you stick things on social media and word is out before you can sneeze. Instead she's sitting in a taxi!

I agree trisher we stopped watching it for those reasons.
Too unbelievable ( not the idea, but the actions.)

Although i find this drama facinating, ooh the violence is a bit heavy, i felt my blood run cold when the father turned up on her birthday with the weird look in the eye and
the things he was saying, and at the setting up of the party............ It has me gripped!!!

Greyduster Sun 14-Jan-18 08:39:19

Well, I’m out. It is too violent and the script is a joke.

Charleygirl Sun 14-Jan-18 09:18:59

I watched around 20 minutes last night and it was so unbelievable that I went to bed.

Pittcity Sun 14-Jan-18 09:19:04

I've watched them all and am totally baffled. So many things don't add up.
