Anyone else see the last episode of this series of Mum last night? I won't give anything away, but I thought it was a brilliant finish. I shall miss my guilty pleasure catching up on Cathy and Michael each week, roll on series 3.

I have just seen it. Brilliant isn’t it, like you I am looking forward to the next series already.

Yes, wasn't that lovely. I found it really touching and funny at the same time.

Loved it - can't wait for the next one.

Saving it for this evening.

I'm going to watch the last episode again for the sheer pleasure. Also going to look for Season 1. We did watch it but want to repeat it.

I watched it last night and thought it was brilliant. I have kept both series on the hard drive so that I can watch it again. I thought I read in one of the TV magazines that they would not be doing another series as they thought it had come to it's natural conclusion.

Watching it tonight with a GLS of red ...

Odd one out here, I thought I'd give it a go a couple of weeks ago but I failed to see why everyone was so enthusiastic about it.

In a word - Brilliant!

Treebee Wed 28-Mar-18 19:03:30

Brilliant series. The ending was so touching.

Have I missed something?

The tentatative holding hands in "Mum" was so much more meaningful and emotionally charged than the casual jumping into bed which we see so often on 21st century TV.

Only managed to watch it last night - Lovely.
Michael's crinkly eyes say it all smile
I love all the couples in the story each with their own varied dynamics. Glad Derick's turned into a 'bad boy' - just so he won't have to sit there thinking of something 'spontaneous' to do.
Like (almost) everyone I can't wait for the next series. I think I'll watch the series again as an Easter treat.
Does anyone else think Kelly is pregnant? ........

Great acting and so subtle! Hope they do a third series.

Eloethan Sat 31-Mar-18 22:38:47

It's been brilliant. I don't know whether a third series is intended. I'm not quite sure how it could develop.

pensionpat Sat 31-Mar-18 23:46:15

I don't think a 3rd series should be attempted. We know the answer now to Will they won't they?
