Absolutely brilliant film. It caught my attention because Glenn Close received an award for it.
The story line is (very briefly) about an insufferable late middle age academic and author (actor is Jonathan Pryce) who wins the Nobel prize and his relationship with his wife and children. I can't remember when I last enjoyed a film so much.
The son in the film was so familiar to me, when I looked him up I realised why, he is in real life the son of Sinead Cusack and Jeremy Irons and he looks just like his mother.
To think that London, or anywhere else for that matter, does not belong to any one demographic
