Channel 5 Australian drama about the effects of 'sexting'.

Glad I'm not 16!

This is really gripping. Set in an Australian school, it shows the devastating effects sexting can have on young lives, how boys' attitudes are so different to girls' and what a mess it creates when it goes on undetected and snowballs. The characters are totally believable and the plot unfolds and develops as the extent of the problem is revealed. This should be shown in all secondary schools to 15 year olds who will relate to the characters and be much more likely to get the message than just by being lectured to.

Strange Chestnut, I was just saying to a friend that this series should be shown to the older pupils in High Schools. It really was an excellent drama.

*Chestnut, Fiachna50*…..I'm glad you both posted!

It is a difficult subject matter, and although it involves the young, the spread of the effects rippling through the different family members was well represented I thought.

Namsnanny totally agree, it was both sad and interesting to see how it affected the families.

It seems there is still a long way to go when it comes to boys respecting girls and not treating them like a piece of meat. I thought those attitudes had largely gone amongst the young but they are alive and well in high schools!

I'm surprised more people didn't watch it.
