Just watched this new movie of Rebecca on Netflix and really enjoyed it.
What have you watched on Netflix that you’ve enjoyed and recommend?

I loved Shtisel, about an orthodox Jewish family in Jerusalem. I enjoyed it more than the much vaunted Unorthodox with a similar theme.
American Murder was a real life riveting watch.

I’ve just watched ‘Home for Christmas’ a Norwegian rom com series. The speed dating scenes were hilarious but thank goodness I never need to do that!

Oh I thought Rebecca wasn't out until 26th. Been looking forward to this remake.

I think I'm in the minority as I'm not a huge Netflix fan - probably because DH likes to watch noisy American films and I don't. We did watch Rebecca yesterday and I thought it was pretty good but, dare I say it, not brilliant. Looking forward to the next series of The Crown.

Watching critical care at the moment. What wonderful work these nhs staff do. If I had to be having treatment I would feel completely safe with any of those shown into nights program, especially the man dealing with the poor lady who had a stroke. Fantastic work.

Just watching 'Rebecca'. It's great. My ideal Saturday afternoon viewing. Very well done.

I’ve just started series one, The Spanish Princess on Prime, about Katherine of Aragon - looks good so far.

Don't be put off just because your husband had different tastes! If you look through the categories you will find lots of great programmes. Shtisel, Designated Survivor, Breaking Bad etc.

I’m looking forward to watching Rebecca this evening. We very much enjoyed The Chicago 7 this week. Netflix is my friend!

I'm watching the second series of The Alienist but it is not for the fainthearted.

I've watched Rebecca this afternoon as well and thought it was terrific.

Must catch up with Shtisel again. I've been neglecting it.

Started Greenleaf last night. It’s going to be addictive for sure.

shysal Sun 25-Oct-20 07:27:32

I plan to watch Rebecca this afternoon if it rains.
I am annoyed with myself for watching a few first seasons of things, which leave you with a cliff hanger and no second season yet. Sweet Magnolias was one I saw last week, also Virgin River and Emily in Paris.
I signed up again just for the Octopus Teacher documentary, so am viewing a few programmes during the month, then will let it lapse.

The Crown would have my vote for best thing I’ve watched but not far behind is Mind Hunter which is based in a book of the same title. It is about the development of the FBI’s department researching the psychology of serial killers. There are two series and there will eventually be a third series But it is being held up for some reason.

Whitewavemark2 Sun 25-Oct-20 11:22:27

I’ve just finished watching the first 3 series of the Crown -again!? in preparation for the 4th due on 15 November.

I’m greatly enjoying Indian Matchmaker and beginning to think arranged marriages (not forced) with a variety of choices are quite a good thing!
The matchmaker herself is so likeable and wise.

J52 Sun 01-Nov-20 15:52:08

I enjoyed Inheritance as well. I’ll look for Unbelievable. Thanks.
