I’m sure there was a tread about Holby since it’s return but I can’t find it. Anyway, is anyone else thinking it’s time to end the Cameron saga? How many more peoples lives will he end/damage?

I hope there will be a thorough investigation. Surely Hanson will get to the bottom of the latest death.

Atqui Wed 13-Jan-21 15:13:12

I’m hoping someone overheard the creep telling the baby doctor to give the anti bios.

BlueBelle Wed 13-Jan-21 15:19:39

It’s getting silly if any more die in his care without anyone ‘noticing’
He is such an annoying little runt

tanith Wed 13-Jan-21 15:27:47

Totally agree

Jaxjacky Wed 13-Jan-21 15:37:50

I stopped watching because of this storyline, too annoying.

B9exchange Wed 13-Jan-21 15:48:08

I too can't wait for Cameron to get his come-uppance. The number of malefactor doctors on one ward is really worrying!

AmberSpyglass Wed 13-Jan-21 16:44:50

The last time I watched was just after his mum Bernie died. He’s a serial killer now?!

NotAGran55 Wed 13-Jan-21 17:07:07

Yes it is getting silly now .

AllotmentLil Thu 14-Jan-21 23:14:22

It has dragged on long enough.

Kim19 Thu 14-Jan-21 23:26:35

Yes, agreed. This storyline has been milked to death. What are his superiors doing to have missed his malicious incompetence? Some have suspicions about him but don't pursue them. So glad this is not based on fact but simply rubbish drama.

It's annoyed me all along. It's like the writers changed their minds about Cameron. He was a very nice boy. Then they suddenly turned him bad. Get rid of the writers not Cameron

ninathenana Fri 15-Jan-21 08:41:25

BlueBelle "annoying little runt" ?? I quite agree.

As has been said, this story line has dragged on far too long. I think this is at least the 3rd nasty manipulative character they've had.
We need some feel good factor.

sodapop Fri 15-Jan-21 08:48:35

I agree with everyone else, this story line has dragged on far too long. I expected my favourite Hansen to have sussed him out before now.

glammanana Fri 15-Jan-21 09:17:26

Yes I agree the story line has carried on far to long now its quite boring to be honest.

Franbern Fri 15-Jan-21 09:21:05

Totally agree with everyone on here. Surely, the editorial team must realise that even faithful viewers are starting to consider whether to continue watching this whilst they carry on with this storyline. Should have ended a long time ago.

I am really holding my breath and hoping that the story line with Dom having to have a stoma will show that this does not need to mean any alteration to his life. Somehow, I doubt it - in the past they have had patients requiring one of these, and I can remember the Doctors telling their partner that they would now need life-long care.

That made me so angry at the time, and I did actually write to BBC - not something I often do - but it could well have put off someone needing this surgery having it done. For many people who require stomas, it is actually the ending of really bad health issues and the beginning of a great normal life. Yes, obviously, if it is carried out on a young person, particularly as an emergency due to an accident - it will be a shock, however this particular patient is supposed to be a doctor and, therefore, should know full well that there is no reason for any part of his life to be amended, once he has fully recovered from the surgery. I would have thought he would be more concerned about the spleenectomy - which will mean that he needs to be on medication for the rest of his life.

A few weeks ago I stopped watching it, so now I have a few to watch on catch up. But after reading this thread I'm not so sure I'll go back to it, especially after reading that the little pr*ck Cameron is still in it.

I've watched it since it began, but the stories are so rubbish now (although they always were mostly!) but no, can't watch Cameron's antics anymore.

Aveline Fri 19-Feb-21 12:47:58

Oh give Dom a chance! He's only just woken from anaesthetic to hear this news. I hope he rallies.
Remember Rick recovered from umpteen illnesses and accidents and kept working.
Sacha is annoying. Maybe time for him and his emoting to go. He can take Kian and McKendrick with him. Time Libby from Eastenders went back to her mum. Do I watch too many soaps?!

BlueBelle Fri 19-Feb-21 12:52:06

Have you ever counted how many of the doctors and nurses are ill or dead There really isn’t a week goes by without a staff member keeling over
Let see how many we can get I can think of a few
McGerry Alcoholic
McGerrys daughter/ son sex change
Guy Self alcoholic
Zoysia mentally ill
Fletch cancer
Essie died cancer
Nicky heart attack
Xavier dead
Connie drug abuse
Kian drug abuse
Jack major back surgery
Rick Griffey brain surgery
Raf killed
Arthur Rigby died
New female doctor (didn’t even get her name) tried to commit suicide

Over to you that’s just off the top of my head
Who can add to the list ?

Aveline Fri 19-Feb-21 13:55:59

Bernie died
That nice looking one who fell off the building into the car park? Can't remember his name.
Jasmine (Jac's secret sister)

Kim19 Fri 19-Feb-21 14:02:13

I'm so sorry Jac has gone. She was my absolute favourite for years. Hope it was her request to be written out.

Aveline Fri 19-Feb-21 14:03:46

I liked Jac too. I also liked Elliot and Rick. At least Henrik's back.

GagaJo Fri 19-Feb-21 14:04:38

I remember someone having the breast cancer reconstructive surgery on Holby that I had and being up and about 24 hours later. No ICU 121 nursing. No 14 hour surgery. No week + in hospital.

Dom is gay so one of the first things that occurred to me when Hansson said you can live a full and happy life was , not really....
The whole Camaron thing is getting silly now, I wish someone would just push him off a cliff or something and be done with it.

I do admire how they have managed to continue filming when there is social distancing it's all hinted closeness and clever camera angles.
