Didn't see Bargain Hunt was this before or after Interior Design Matters?

I think the two going into the final were the right choice.

Paul was so confident until this week, I agree the right two went through.

Didn't explain very well. She has her own unique look hair and clothes wise but on B.H. she was dressed very average and had lost the pink hair.

I preferred the other version with Daniel Hopgood and the architect because they just dealt with homes. I enjoyed the beach huts but didn't watch last night's because I'm not that interested in hair salons.

I think you mean Daniel Hopwood. Who was a host on The Great Interiot Design Challenge with Sophie Robinson, another Interior designer.

Lol ninathenana; I didn't explain myself very well rather. I was wondering if the interiors programme lead her to being on BH. ? if so shame she's put her signature looks aside. Touches of Zandra Rhodes.

Loved Lynsey's cafe room upstairs. Hope she wins. Micaela has come on leaps and bounds and thought she might have made the final.

I don’t really enjoy it as much as the Great Interior Design Challenge because it doesn’t give you ideas on how to decorate your own home. Also missing is the history of the properties being worked on etc. I find it a dumbing down of that programme and I find the host guy (Alan?) a bit irritating. I also don’t see how they can possibly get the work done in two days: it takes that long just for the paint to dry. I know I’m being picky. I guess I just loved TGIDC so much!

MayBee70 I do agree. I enjoyed TGIDC and even bought the book that followed the series.

I suppose with it being called Interior Design Masters shows it is looking at design across a wide range of challenges not just peoples' houses every week. The prize is a design contract at Another Place hotel, Lake District.

Time to complete challenges is on par with all TV craft programmes. I should think many use latex paints as they dry within an hour. I'm always amazed in Throw Down how they manage to make a piece in a very short period of time. .

I also thought Lynsey’s upstairs room was by far the best. I also liked the other show which was just houses and we got to hear the owners’ feedback too.

Oh, I will have to hide this thread, as I havn't finished watching on catch up, yet. I'm two behind!

I enjoyed watching them redesign the restaurants I also thought the correct people went through but I did feel for Paul.

I am not sure if I would want any of them re-designing my house- the end result may be too "busy".

Must have been an old episode of Bargain Hunt with Siobhan as they're social distancing on new episodes. They weren't in the one with her and her Mum.

I have just watched the episode of BH too. I think it must be an old one. I like Siobhan’s colourful style, wigs and all.

Not mentioning names in case some hasn't seen the final yet but the right winner for me. Got to love her work/ideas more and more as the weeks went by.

I think I need to rewatch the series as I can’t remember people’s previous designs. Yes, I think the right person won, too.
