Flight Malaysia MH370

This is on NF and I found it very intriguing and interesting. So many different theories as to what happened - with each one I thought "Yes, that's it", and then it was disproven. Maybe it will never be solved but there's definitely something being covered up. Absolutely appalling for the grieving relatives.

What is NF? Probably obvious to everyone but me.

I don't go along with conspiracy theories. I just thought it was obvious from Day 1 that it was flown deliberately into the ocean. When you look at the flight path, first avoiding the radar and then turning towards the open sea, there is no other conclusion. No-one would fly in that direction by accident, literally into the middle of nowhere. I just knew it was deliberate 24 hours after it happened and nothing I have heard since has changed my mind.

Netflix?

Chestnut Thu 09-Mar-23 16:09:30

You're probably right. Just as easy to write Netflix though.

Sparklefizz Thu 09-Mar-23 17:35:07

Yes. Netflix.

But Chestnut more evidence has since emerged which questions your theory. Have you watched the programme?

Germanshepherdsmum Thu 09-Mar-23 17:42:31

What evidence is there that something is being covered up? I don’t have Netflix so have no idea what this latest conspiracy theory is.

GagaJo Thu 09-Mar-23 17:55:21

Malaysia Airlines have a bad track record too though. A friend had to fly with them later that year and was terrified when one of the engines caught fire and they had to return to Shanghai. And then had to get on another flight with them (work related trip).

Sparklefizz Thu 09-Mar-23 18:01:50

They are not conspiracy theories but theories based on technical data newly released.

Sparklefizz Thu 09-Mar-23 18:03:44

I'm not going to argue for it. I found it very interesting, and feel desperately sorry for the families who have been repeatedly lied to by Malaysian Airlines .....but don't watch it if you're not interested.

Zoejory Thu 09-Mar-23 18:55:57

We watched it and thought the same as you, Sparklefizz!

It was very interesting. So sad for the families. The never knowing. So hard to live with.

henetha Thu 09-Mar-23 18:59:32

I watched half of it this afternoon and found it fascinating. I'll finish it tomorrow.
How awful for the families to never know what happened to their loved ones.

Glorianny Thu 09-Mar-23 23:50:51

Thanks for the suggestion I watched it and was left wondering. Even the official report rejected the theory that it was a deliberate act. It must be awful to not know what happened to your loved ones.

Are you saying the flight did NOT head straight towards the Indian Ocean, in other words the middle of nowhere? If it did then my theory stands intact. If it didn't then I'll watch the programme.

fiorentina51 Fri 10-Mar-23 03:17:20

I found it really interesting especially the third episode and the possible connection with the US.
Such a tragedy.

Sparklefizz Fri 10-Mar-23 10:17:39

Chestnut I think you need to watch the programme where aviation experts, scientists and technology experts dissect all the information that has arisen since MH370 went missing.

Chestnut Fri 10-Mar-23 11:10:56

Okay, I will watch it, although I have seen a two part documentary already which went into great detail. I can't see how they will ever know for sure because the evidence is at the bottom of a very deep and enormous ocean. My theory is that the pilot wanted to create the biggest aviation mystery ever known to man, and if so then he succeeded in that.

Katie59 Fri 10-Mar-23 13:26:17

Aircraft don’t go off on their own they have 2 pilots, one of them had a death wish. It had to be deliberate the flight was still controlled and a course was eventually set into nowhere.

Have you considered hijacking?

Chestnut Fri 10-Mar-23 15:24:34

Why would a hijacker want to fly into the Indian Ocean? There would be no point. Their identity and purpose would be unknown, so their name would not be up in lights. Their cause would never be identified so there would be absolutely no point in doing this.

ExperiencedNotOld Fri 10-Mar-23 20:53:40

Yes, I’ve just watched it. Intriguing. Most definitely not that washed up in the Mozambique straits, but what was he up to? And why has no-one ever looked at the supposed wreckage in the South China Sea.? If left me waiting for yet another episode!

Katie59 Sat 11-Mar-23 07:50:46

And why has no-one ever looked at the supposed wreckage in the South China Sea.??

Because the aircraft was still flying and transmitting automatic data signals for several hours after it left that area and the aircraft parts washed up on Reunion Island was proved to come from MH 370

ExperiencedNotOld Sat 11-Mar-23 09:52:15

But surely the wreckage deserve examination. And it was alleged the Reunion wreckage came from MH370. Did it really? As said before, the series ended with me having more questions than answers.

None of the staff who worked with him believe that the pilot would behave in such a way. What exactly is your theory based on? It was at one point seen as an easy solution- to blame the pilot.

How can you (or anyone) explain that very deliberate flight path? No-one knows what is going on inside someone else's head so friends and family might not have a clue what he was thinking or intending.

Sparklefizz Sat 11-Mar-23 11:25:45

Chestnut If only it were as simple as you make out.
