Anyone watching this? We've just started season 1. Watched two episodes and we're now getting into it. It's a story of a widowed ranch owner with three sons and a daughter, all dysfunctional! There's a battle with native Americans over land borders. Modern day Western really. Great soundtrack and beautiful scenery. However, don't know if it's us, but we're finding it really mumbly and difficult to catch the words sometimes. It's spoiling what I think might be a good series. It's on Amazon Prime but not sure if there are subtitles available for it. Will try to check this out when we watch the next episode.

Maybe start with the prequels ,1883 is about the family travelling on a wagon train west and is a great piece of TV .1923 catches up with the family when their ranch is still struggling and brings in new characters .1923 has Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren in the lead roles .
It should have been shown in that order in my opinion as it makes sense of alot of the modern day issues...especially the Native American ones.
As a whole they have been the best TV I've watched for a long time

I’ve watched them all and loved each one in its own right. Spectacular scenery and wonderful actors. I find it hard when they have a break in the middle of a series though.
